I started this journey back in January and my insurance made me switch to see Dr. Stanczyk. All I can say is it was the best thing that could of ever happened to me. I met with David, the office manager and he is a wealth of information and will work with you and runs a fantastic support group on the 2nd Saturday of every month. If you ever have any qualms about the surgery, go to a group, lots of people to talk to.
Now, Dr. Stanczyk…what can I say about her. She is the most caring, informative doctor I have ever had the chance to work with. When you first meet her she explains everything to you about the surgery, and if you have any questions she answers everything for you. She sketches out the surgery and she really is great. The office staff preps you for your date and is encouraging and helpful and Dr. Stanczyk is always there for you when other doctors might just not care. I highly encourage calling the office if your have any questions and go see Dr. Stanczyk. She will forever be a hero in my eyes for helping me lose this weight and her constant encouragement for helping me keep it off. I had the Gastric Sleeve in June and have already lost 133 lbs. She was also there to help me thru a horrible gallbladder situation where seeing her smiling face when I woke up in recover was a sigh of relief as I knew I was in good hands.
Thank you Dr. Stanczyk, you’re an amazing women and thanks to all the staff at the office. Forever grateful.
